A: Our kits are primarily designed to perfectly illuminate display cabinets, with a special focus on popular models like the Detolf and Blaliden. If you have a different cabinet or need specific dimensions, we're happy to help! We welcome custom orders; please email us your specifications for an inquiry.

A: Our key advantages are clean aesthetics and protection for your collection:

  • Aesthetics: We use thin, translucent clear wiring that is virtually invisible.

  • Protection: Our USB-powered LED strips generate the lowest heat possible. This is vital to prevent the long-term discoloring of your prized collectibles, a common issue with power-brick light systems.

Q: Do I need a separate power source?

A: Our kits are USB-powered. You will need a standard USB wall adapter (like the one for your phone charger, not included) or a USB power bank. This makes them highly versatile and easy to power in any location.

Q: Are the lights dimmable?

A: Dimming capability depends on the kit:

Standard (White/Warm White): Dimmable using our micro USB dimmer (optional).

RGB+W: Dimmable and controllable via a mobile phone app using the included wireless Bluetooth module.

Q: What color temperature options are available for the lights?

A: We offer three main color tones to fit your aesthetic and display needs:

  • Pure White (approx. 6000K): A crisp, clean tone designed to highlight the true colors and sharp details of your collectibles.

  • Warm White (approx. 3000K): A softer, more inviting tone for a warmer ambiance.

  • RGB+W (Color-Changing & Pure White): Kits that provide a full spectrum of colors plus a dedicated, bright white tone.


2. Ordering & Payment

 

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept payment through PayPal. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can still easily complete your purchase using a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) via the PayPal gateway.

Q: Can I modify my order after placing it?

A: We process orders very quickly to ensure prompt delivery. If you need to modify, please email us at thelukelight@gmail.com immediately. We can typically only accommodate changes if the order has not yet been processed for shipping.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

A: We offer two shipping* speeds:

  • FedEx Express: Expect delivery in about 10 business days.

  • Standard Shipping: The typical window is 2 to 5 weeks. While your package often arrives in your country within two weeks, please note that the remaining time is usually due to customs clearance, which varies significantly by region.

For US orders: If you select Standard Shipping, your order is Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), meaning we cover all customs fees and taxes upfront—no surprises when it arrives!

A: No! Our kits are designed for simple, non-permanent installation. The clear wires are thin and can be easily hidden along the cabinet frame using simple tape or the provided accessories. Most users can complete the setup in under 30 minutes.
